I don't know if there is a thread about this, but have you ever noticed that, sometimes, the BGM in the Japanese edition are different than those used in other editions?

For example, in the Italian 1978 editon there are some scenes where the background tracks are different from those present in the same scenes of the Japanese edition.
Or, in the case of the theme "Tobe Grendizer" used as BGM, in the Japanese edition you find the version with the voice of Isao Sasaki singing, while in the Italian version the instrumental version with no singing.

Does it happen in the French edition too?

If you want to know if there are differences in the soundtrack between the French and Japanese versions of the series, the answer is yes.

1/ The French opening and ending themes are reprised in the first 30 episodes.
2/ After that, when there are songs in Japanese, they have been replaced either by the instrumental version or by another background music track from the series.
I believe that in the international version, some BGM is even occasionally replaced by an other BGM.

Il existe en effet des différences entre la version japonaise et la française.

Il me vient à l'esprit cette chanson, absente de la version française et présente dans la version japonaise à la fin de l'épisode 48 :




En effet, dans la version française elle est remplacée par la musique de fond sans les paroles de Uchuu no ooja Grendizer le générique de fin.
