This is the same map published on Mazinger Bible. Hard to say what city is it, or even if it is a real town, but according to the notes on that map,Bouleau Blanc a écrit : ↑lun. avr.
Thank you.Ozu a écrit : ↑lun. avr. 06, 2026 23:32 pm This is the same map published on Mazinger Bible. Hard to say what city is it, or even if it is a real town, but according to the notes on that map,
it has to be in Nagano prefecture, not in Yamanashi prefecture (where Kōfu is).
As far as the location of the Shirakaba farm is concerned, there are three or four documents which all points clearly to Nagano prefecture.

I guess that those 3/4 documents are from magazine like TV-Land or BouKen Oh as well as Artbook and pictures books?
As long as they don't contradict what is said in the anime and keep being acceptable and logical, it suits with me!
Very interesting. Another one is the hand-written synopsis of ep. 1, the picture of which I found on the Mandarake auctions site.
The third one is a record with the story of the first two episodes narrated in Japanese, found on a youtube channel.
Other references are found in TV-Land.
Than you for those info.Ozu a écrit : ↑mar. avr. 07, 2026 00:43 am

Regarding n.2, the were only pics of 5 pages of the 14 total pages of the document, so it's difficult to compare with the whole episode. But, as far as I can read, it seems to me that the episode follows the synopsis.Monsieur Vilak a écrit : ↑mar. avr. 07, 2026 09:52 amThan you for those info.Ozu a écrit : ↑mar. avr. 07, 2026 00:43 am

1- ok, I'll check the Bible
2- a report of the differences, additions and deletions compared to what ended up being on TV would be very appreciated please!
3- Oh does the video still exist? If yes, can we have a link please?
4- obvious!
Yes exactly. On the far right, in vertical, it is written 八ヶ岳, Yatsugatake Mountains. This is also explained in Ryo Hirokawa's very informative site.Monsieur Vilak a écrit : ↑mar. avr. 07, 2026 21:17 pm Thank you Ozu.
I guess this is this page from the Bible you are talking?

Obviously it's in Japanese, but If you listen, the first line of the story goes: "This is the Institute for Space Science at the feet of the Yatsugatake Mountains, in Shishuu".
Again, a clear reference to Shinshuu 信州, the old name for Nagano prefecture.
